Dan Pena says that Russian President Vladimir Putin is the creator of Bitcoin and has built up the technology as an elaborate plot to bring down the American dollar. According to Pena, this absurd conspiracy represents an attempt by Putin to crash the US economy once BTC "inevitably goes to zero".

With this legendarily dumb statement, Dan Pena joins the ranks of Warren Buffet, Charlie Munger, Bill Gates, Nouriel Roubini and Paul Krugman as an ageing businessman commenting on matters he knows nothing about.

We also discuss the OBFT Hard fork which has been implemented as part of Cardano's mainnet, and which bring ADA one step closer to Shelley.
