IBM has unveiled a computer that smaller than a grain of rock salt. The computer has the power of an x86 chips, from 1990, and it’s transistor count is in the several hundred thousand range. Not the most powerful thing in the world, but it does have its use cases. This tiny computer is going to work as a data source for blockchain.
Literally these tiny computers will go on a product all the way from the factory where the product is made, into the consumers hands. This will continually update the ledger, giving parties on both ends of the transaction up to date real time information. This is the 21st century tracking number. Then you combine this with Watson/AI powered logistics, and here is the big news: Stellar's financial networks: you get a suppliers wet dream. Basically the tiny computers will be used for shipping goods from the source to the end user, relaying information to the ledger along the way.
The only missing piece of the puzzle is cross-border payments and issuing custom assets. And guess what cryptocurrency has a partnership with IBM for cross border payments? Stellar $XLM of course!
Now moving onto a coin I hate with a passion, and think it’s utter and complete bullshit taking advantage of the space….I’m talking about you Electroneum $ETN!! Tune in to find out more about this utter shit coin!
