We reached out to the team over at Lucyd to get some information about their ICO. At Altcoin Buzz we only review ICOs that we are personally interested in, and we give you our true opinions on the project. This particular one was very interesting to the team because it appears to be the first ICO to actually promise to deliver a physical good, and it also appears to be the first Augmented Reality project to offer an ICO too.

The LCD Token will be used to purchase the physical hardware, which should become available in Q1 2019. The cost of those glasses is listed currently at 5,000 LCD tokens and the current price per token is $0.25 (before any potential bonuses).
This is the first ICO to offer a physical piece of hardware as a reward for those who purchase enough tokens to later exchange for the hardware. Since the price appears to be fixed, if the value of LCD rises after the ICO it could drive up the price of the Lucyd AR Glasses. Given the current exchange rates the price for a set would be $1,250 USD.
You can learn more about the Lucyd ICO, which will be going on until February 28, 2018 or until their hard cap is met. If they do not meet their hard cap by Feb 28 the unsold tokens will be burned.
The Lucyd ICO is not available for participants from the United States, China, or Singapore. If you live in one of those countries and would still like to get your hands on some LCD tokens you will have to wait until after the coins are distributed and then purchase them on the exchanged (TBD).
